So I have been sick for the last two weeks and haven't had much extra time to do anything.
Blah.
I am finally feeling better and have energy to get things done.
Today, I was able to do the dishes, laundry, clean the shower and clean up all the mouse poop under our sink.
That's right, mouse poop.
A few days ago when I was taking out the trash I noticed tiny, brown, rice-like droppings scattered underneath the sink. So we cleaned it up and took out all the stinky trash and put some mouse poison under there for them to nibble on.
Today when I opened the trash, I noticed more mouse poop and a pee stench. Awesome. So I cleaned the crap out of the sink area and prepared a crock pot dinner (not at the same time of course).
So I am feeling a pretty accomplished today.
Anywho, A couple weeks ago me and the hubs celebrated our Anniversary. His mom was so kind to watch our lovely-little-baby-Ry for a few hours while we hit the town. I surprised Sean with a trip to Portland (which he claims he still had no idea about).
We got to our destination a little early and decided to get some quick drinks at Cascade Brewing. I'm not much of a drinker, (especially when it comes to beer) but let me tell you, these were delicious! I chose a strawberry and blueberry taster, the strawberry was my favorite.
Then we went to the Portland Culinary Workshop and cooked ourselves up some dinner.
We watch Hell's Kitchen and Master Chef all the time and Sean really enjoys cooking, so I thought it would be so fun to cook dinner together under professional instruction.
I mean so 'Hitch' right?
Unfortunately, I forgot the after photos of the amazing meal we cooked. But the peach crostini with gruyere was our fav!
We had fun and met some really cool couples. So if you are looking for a fun date night with your significant other, you should totally google cooking classes in your city.
